All good gardens have a resident Robin and the Busy Bees garden is no exception. And it’s no wonder, the school grounds are currently brimming with food from the huge number of native trees and hedges we are lucky enough to have on site - the hawthorn, Rowan tree, holly and blackthorn are all full of berries and Reggie the Robin and the blackbirds are loving it! There are some pretty funky caterpillars around as well at the moment - we think we found a Pale Tussock moth caterpillar today which feeds on hawthorn and blackthorn - he’s picked the right spot!
