The Busy Bees Club were delighted to pledge to "Bee the Change" alongside the Bumblebee Conservation Trust in 2021 - and the great work of the children has been recognised by the Trust and included on their website:
https://www.bumblebeeconservation.org/beethechange/blog/our-school-garden/ The "Bee the Change" project launched by the Society in 2021 is all about quick, simple ways you can make your local area more bumblebee-friendly. It doesn’t matter if you live in the city or the countryside. If you have a garden, a flower pot – or no outdoor space at all! Bumblebees do an amazing job pollinating our crops and wildflowers. But as our towns and countryside change, there are fewer flowers to feed on, so bumblebees need a helping hand to survive and the Busy Bees team are doing what they can to help the pupils at the school make a real difference.
